The long-awaited Nissan 400Z is here at last thanks to an anonymous person who made these shots in what looks like a carmaker’s warehouse. The next-gen Z looks nearly identical to the Proto Z shown last year (see video), though the small spoiler at the rear end is new.
The newcomer reminds us of the 1969 Datsun 240Z (S30) as far as the overall proportions go, while the solid taillight stripe evokes 1989 Nissan 300ZX (Z32) vibes.
The automaker still hasn’t announced all the details, but the car has already made it into a video game named Project CARS 3, where it weighs 1,475 kilograms (3,252 pounds) and gets 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) out of its 3.0-liter V6. Whether any of this is real is another question.
Availability dates and prices remain unknown. The current-gen Z34 Nissan 370Z has been in production for twelve years so far.
