Nissan keeps slowly unveiling its mysterious Z Proto sports car, which many of us believe is the next-gen 370Z model that rumors identify as “400Z”.
The latest video focuses on the details the car inherits from its predecessors, notably including the Nissan Fairlady Z round headlights and the 300ZX (Z32) brake lights.
Among other things, the footage flashes a redesigned Z badge and the cabin with the stich shifter clearly present. This is intriguing because earlier speculations said the car would go nine-speed automatic instead. The same source reported that it would pack a V6 engine of the Infiniti Q60 rated at 400 horsepower (398 kilowatts).
The Z Proto will enjoy official premiere on September 16, 2020, but the production won’t start until next year.
