Nissan will bring a swanky-looking minivan concept to the Japan Mobility Show. Called the Hyper Tourer, it concludes the trio of Hyper design studies heading for the show (see video).
While the other two are SUVs, this one is a futuristic minivan with a solid LED stripe encircling the entire body and serving as the DRLs. The bumpers are also encrusted with LEDs, compensating for a lack of traditional headlights. All doors are sliding, and there are no b-pillars.
Inside, the front seats can swivel around to let passengers talk to each other in transit. The van collects biometrical data from the people inside and adjust the lighting and the background music according to everyone’s mood. A giant LED panel on the floor displays an animation of sunrays refracted in water.
The technical parameters remain to be revealed.
