Nissan reveals its future vision at a press briefing

The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has held a press conference during which the company made a number of interesting statements. For instance, it was announced that Nissan plans to expand its all-electric vehicle lineup to 8 different models by 2022. At least 20 cars are expected to be equipped with self-drive tech to the same date.

Even though Nissan currently holds world leadership with 300,000+ all-electric cars produced each year, the company is eager to move into a higher gear with 1,000,000 such cars produced annually starting in 2021.

An all-electric Infiniti vehicle has previously been scheduled for premiere in early 2020s. The car is already in the works. Its appearance is going be similar to that of the Q Inspiration Concept introduced earlier this year at the International Motor Show in Detroit, U.S.A.
