The time has come for the anniversary supercar Nissan GT-R50 to proceed with the road tests. Watch the official YouTube footage for a closer look at the new sport vehicle, which was created in partnership with Italdesign.
The test drive took place at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium. The car finished several laps, stared upon by dozens of photo and video lenses.
For those of you who haven’t heard yet, the Nissan GT-R50 project celebrates the 50th anniversary of the GT-R series. Compared to the standard model, the GT-R50 features redesigned lighting, new air intakes, and an elongated front.
The engine compartment holds a revised 3.8L V6 engine with two larger turbochargers now producing up to 720 hp (537 kW). For comparison, the regular GT-R series ships with 655 hp (488 kW) under the hood. The newcomer also has stronger piston rods, pistons, and crankshaft.
The company plans to produce a limited series of only 50 Nissan GT-R50 sport cars, each priced at above €1,000,000.
