Nissan has launched a website and a configurator for those interested in the new Ariya e-SUV. The deliveries will not begin until next fall, so let us have a closer look at the available options in the meantime.
The lineup opens with a basic trim called Venture and priced from $44,950 USD. Evolve comes next and costs $48,950 before options. Premiere is third at $53,450 and Platinum e-4ORCE crowns the range with a $58,950 sticker. There will be more trim levels later, Nissan says without providing any further details.
In terms of fit and finish, the Premiere is identical to Evolve except for the added ProPilot Assist 2.0 package, ProPilot Park, 19-inch wheels finished in a unique shade, and illuminated logos.
From the technical point of view, the entry-level Venture is not too shabby with an electric motor capable of 241 PS (238 hp / 177 kW) and a traction battery rated at 87 kWh for a range of 482 km (300 miles). The Evolve is identical in terms of drivetrain and power source, but only runs 458 km (285 miles) on a charge – perhaps because of the added weight. The Premiere has the same specifications and range as the Evolve.
Finally, the Platinum e-4ORCE benefits from a dual-motor AWD configuration capable of 395 PS (390 hp / 290 kW), which caps its driving range at 424 km (263 miles).
