Nissan has unveiled the Ariya Single Seater, an electric supercar concept with Formula looks and a name borrowed from a production SUV.
As a pure design study, it is proof of just how versatile the Ariya platform is when it comes to designing different vehicle types on it. It is also an attempt to reimagine the underlying principles of EV exterior styling.
Like its namesake, the Ariya Single Seater has a V-shaped front end and a bronze finish accentuated with carbon fiber details. The design team also drew parallels with battery racers of Formula-E, the racing series Nissan takes part in.
The show car will serve as the foundation for future innovation and has no technical parameters right now.
