Nissan – or, more specifically, its Nismo division – seems to be designing a sportier and more powerful version of the all-electric Ariya SUV, CarBuzz reports posting a gallery of spy shots.
The test vehicle was reportedly spotted charging at a Tesla station somewhere in Europe. It had very little camo on, so you can take a good look at the new aero kit including revised bumpers and two spoilers. The car also rides on 20-inch wheels and benefits from larger brakes.
CarBuzz believes that the new Ariya will get a powertrain rated higher than the current 394 PS (389 hp / 290 kW). It may also end up with modified suspension and red exterior accents. Its main rivals will likely be the Ioniq 5 N and the Tesla Model Y Performance.
Judging by the lack of camo, we assume Nissan is almost ready to unveil the car. WE would expect it to make a show debut in early 2024.
