The facelifted Nissan Patrol SUV came out in the fall of 2019, but its North American twin – the Armada – only received its share of updates now.
At the front end, the car sports a new V-shaped grille, redesigned headlights, bumper and hood. The fenders, rear bumper and badge are also different.
Inside, changed elements include the center console, the dashboard screen and the 12.3-inch central display. An entertainment system was added for the second row occupants, and a digital rearview mirror was implemented along with wireless gadget charging.
The new Armada features two-zone climate control, satellite navigation, a high-end 13-channel audio system with a subwoofer, and a plethora of driver aids.
Powering the SUV is the old naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 boosted by 11 hp (8 kW) and 26 Nm (20 lb-ft) of torque to 400 hp (298 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) total. The transmission is seven-speed auto, and buyers may choose between RWD and AWD.
