At the Tokyo Auto Salon, which starts on January 13 and is primarily dedicated to aftermarket and tuning, Nissan will be showcasing a handful of its cars with various upgrades slapped on.
The Z Customized, in particular, is a production-ready successor to the Z Customized Proto vehicle shown last year (see video). Apparently, the automaker realized that there was a market for this kind of car and decided to greenlight it. New elements include a front bumper with a bar running across the front grille and an orange-black exterior. All in all, the coupe aims to resemble the Fairlady Z432R.
The next entry, a Kei car named Roox Suix, boasts a stretched body with two extra wheels and more cabin space. The design team says there is enough room inside for a premium comfort level – in fact, enough even to put a piano inside!
As well, Nissan will be bringing along a number of upgrades for its Cube hatchback discontinued three years ago. The Japanese company believes owners will appreciate the opportunity to spruce up the car using OEM parts.
This is far from all, though. The carmaker will be exhibiting as many as eight Caravan microbuses retrofitted for work and recreation. In addition to those, the Autech division will reveal new sported-up Serena and X-Trail models, while Nismo will premiere a particularly powerful modification of the Note Aura.
