The new Nissan Frontier hit the spotlight in February 2021 to become an instant crowd favorite. Sales have been strong so far, but to show us what aftermarket options are available, the automaker will be bringing three Frontier demo cars to the Chicago Auto Show.
The 72X Frontier pays homage to the once hugely popular Datsun 720 pickup. Its modern interpretation boasts white steelies wrapped in PRO-4X tires, a raised suspension, and a special body graphics.
Another project, named the Hardbody, resembles the classical Nissan D21 Hardbody truck. It commands a 76mm (3-inch) lift kit, wheels with squared-off spokes, all-terrain rubber, additional lighting and some of the protection normally used by the Frontier Pro-4X.
Rounding off the trio is the Adventure, which rocks a 127mm (5-inch) lift, a tent holder on the roof, a whole audio system in the truck bed, and a wrap with the map of the USA on it.
