Nissan’s Nismo division has posted some shots of its rally-focused Frontier build set to participate in the Norra 500 rally in Mexico this weekend. The team made a point out of using exclusively Nismo parts for the project, which let the car compete in the Production Vehicle class.
Compared to the stock Frontier (see video), the modded truck sports a body kit, a roll bar over the bed, a spare wheel, a roof rack and auxiliary lighting.
Things look different in the chassis department, too. The suspension benefits from a standard lift kit, and there are new 17-inch, beadlock-protected wheels in the arches shod in Yokohama Geolandar tires. The body wears a Forsberg Racing livery – that’s the name of the team competing in the Norra 500.
Once it is done with the race, the Nismo truck will be heading to Las Vegas for the SEMA show.
