The next generation of the Nissan GT-R is still far on the horizon, but the manufacturer has to keep people interested in the sports car one way or another. A good way to do so would be to issue a special, limited series of the car with better tech and/or features. This is exactly where the Nissan GT-R Naomi Osaka Special Еdition comes in.
The vehicle bears the name of Naomi Osaka, Nissan’s Brand Ambassador and winner of the 2018 U.S. Open tennis tournament. She is the first Japanese woman to win a prestigious championship like this.
The limited series offers three kinds of unique paintjobs and three custom interior finishing schemes (orange, red, and beige – because Naomi wanted it). You choose which color of these three will decorate the center console, the steering wheel and the doors.
On the outside, there is a golden-tinted plaque under the hood bearing the serial number of the car, and a carbon rear wing with an built-in LED brake light.
The series is based on the Nissan GT-R Premium trim. Prices will be announced in January 2019, but you can already make a preorder. Nissan only plans to release 50 such vehicles, so be sure to act quickly.
