JRM Group to build 23x road-legal Nissan GT-R Nismo

British engineering enterprise JRM Group has announced the forthcoming release of 23 Nissan GT-R racecars converted into street-legal vehicles.

Every such JRM GT23 will get to keep its 3.8-liter VR38DETT engine; furthermore, the mill will be boosted to deliver up to 650 hp (485 kW) to the wheels. A new sequential transmission with a paddle shifter and fluid power drive will replace the racing-spec six-speed DSG.

The original GT-R Nismo launches in 2.6 seconds and maxes out at 320 km/h (199 mph). The acceleration specs of the JRM GT23 are yet to be announced.

Further improvements will include adjustable suspension, as well as performance brakes with six-piston front calipers and perforated discs. Customers will be able to choose the color of the car body and the roll cage as long as they opt for the Extreme package. The latter also includes an aero kit, air shocks, and an engine boost to 750 hp (559 kW).

The standard JRM GT23 will be offered at £380,000. The Extreme package will add another £72,000.
