Italdesign revealed the exclusive Nissan GT-R50 Anniversary Edition two years ago and will be finally launching sales this summer. To help us get into festive mood, Nismo reveals a few interesting details about the car.
Apparently, 12% of the powertrain consists of new components designed from scratch. This includes the turbocharger, pistons, distribution shafts, connecting rods, the catalyst block, and others. The result is a highly efficient engine that complies with the Euro 6 regulations.
The transmission also boasts a number of heavy-duty upgrade parts to cope with the extra 110 horsepower (81 kilowatts). In total, the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 slams the wheels with 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) and is 0.8 seconds faster to sprint 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) than the stock GT-R.
