Both the Nissan GT-R and coachbuilder Italdesign celebrated their fiftieth birthday in 2018, leading to a collaboration between the two automotive companies that culminated in a supercar named the GT-R 50. It is now going on sale priced from €990,000, a multiple of the original’s MSRP.
Italdesign had hoped to begin deliveries in late 2020, but the first clients to have pre-ordered their highly customized rides have only started receiving them now.
A GT-R Nismo spec at base, the exclusive edition boasts an all-new body and a custom 3.8-liter V6 under the hood rated at 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW). A six-speed semi-automatic transmission sends the momentum to all four wheels. The wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and high-performance brake calipers can be seen behind the spokes.
