The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has revealed the pricing of its GT-R50 anniversary sport car series developed in cooperation with the coachbuilder Italdesign. The batch of just 50 vehicles will be offered at U.S. $1,050,000 each.
Italdesign celebrates its 50th birthday this year, while Nissan commemorates 50 years since the beginning of its GT-R sport car series. The two companies decided to party together and joined efforts on the Nissan GT-R50.
The car has a unique body design interspersed with golden accents, a slanting hood cover with massive air intakes, LED lighting and a narrow rear window.
The engine compartment of the vehicle holds an improved 3.8-liter V6 turbocharged engine capable of 720 hp (537 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lbĂ—ft) of torque. It is thus 60 hp / 45 kW stronger than the original GT-R, thanks to better turbochargers, injection, exhaust, pistons, camshaft, and jet nozzles.
The resplendent Nissan GT-R50 will be present at the Goodwood Festival of Speed starting in England in a few days.
