New Nissan GT-R50 debuts at Goodwood

The anniversary Nissan GT-R50 supercar, built by the Japanese automotive brand in partnership with the Italian coachbuilder and tuner Italdesign, has debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Only 50 copies of the vehicle will make it into series. Why 50? Because it has been 50 years since the first Nissan GT-R rolled off the assembly line and Italdesign was founded.

The sport car uses the GT-R Nismo architecture, but its exterior and interior design is drastically different.

The hood cover opens up to reveal a 3.8-liter V6 engine whose capacity exceeds 700 hp (522 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb·ft) of torque.

Each Nissan GT-R50 will be sold for nearly $1,000,000.
