What you will see in this video may look like a staged event or an advertisement for tuning, but the Nissan GT-R owner assures us he just felt like lending a helping hand to a Volvo semi, which had no way of climbing a slippery slope in Europe alone.
The footage makes it clear that the sports car, despite being modified, was never meant for towing heavy vehicles. It visibly strains, hunts for traction and generally has a tough time getting the Volvo along. The driver of the trailer truck helps to the best of his ability, but is obviously desperate for the assistance.
Madisma Performance tuned this particular Godzilla to produce 400 extra metric horses, meaning that the stock 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo now churns out 1,000 PS (986 hp / 735 kW) and more than the standard 652 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque.
The user schaefchen, who posted the video on YouTube, has another couple of videos confirming that the towing mission was a success. Just whether the GT-R ended up with a busted transmission (the risk was undeniably there) remains unknown.
