Back when it debuted, the Nissan GT-R was one of the world’s most powerful production sports cars. But one has to wonder, how did it age? Carwow decided to find out.
In the video above, a GT-R Nismo packing 608 PS (600 hp / 447 kW) goes up against a Tesla Model X with 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW). The Japanese icon weighs much less than the electric car, which should give it a fair chance in the race. Then there is the positioning: the Nismo is a track-focused version of an already sporty coupe, whereas the Model X is a family hauler with loads of performance thrown in just for fun.
