GT-A International, a company from Munich, Germany specializing in restoring and selling automotive exotics, will be putting a unique Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 up for sale soon. Built for the fourth movie in the Fast&Furious franchise, it was widely considered the favorite ride of late actor Paul Walker.
The company apparently announced the sale on September 12, Paul Walker’s birthday, but still hasn’t specified an auction date. Looking at its other announcements, the coupe with around 6,000 kilometers (3,728 miles) under its belt may go on sale in late 2022.
The seller claims it is the only GT-R R34 the filming crew actually put to use in the movie. All other cars were cheaper RWD Nissans equipped with lesser engines and used as mere props.
Responsible for the tuning and customization is Kaizo Industries, a U.S.-based shop that allegedly boosted the stock 2.67-liter inline-six engine mated to a six-speed Getrag transmission to 550 metric horsepower (542 hp / 404 kW). Other additions included an eye-catching body kit, Volk Racing wheels and Rotora brakes.
The driver’s seat was customized at the factory to suit Paul Walker’s body parameters. New owners will need to replace the seat or otherwise get used to its unusual position if they ever decide to actually drive the car, rather than keeping it as a museum exhibit.
