Nissan has shared the first image announcing an all-electric conversion of the Skyline R32 GT-R. The idea apparently belonged to a talented engineer (still uncredited), who decided to build a perfect battery-powered sports car and requested assistance from the Japanese automaker.
The project is called R32EV, and the work is only just beginning. The only photo revealed so far shows what looks like a completely stock rear end of the Nissan Skyline GT-R, with even its exhaust system intact.
All we know about the engineer is that they are unaffiliated to Nissan, but appreciate both GT-R classics and modern electrification trends. Their goal is to build “an electromod that everyone without exception will like”.
We are excited to see how the project develops.
