Bonhams Auctions has found a new owner for the Nissan GT-R R34 the late Paul Walker piloted in the 2009 movie ‘Fast & Furious 4’. The car with around 6,000 km (3,700 miles) under its belt went for a record-high $1,360,000.
Kaizo Industries carried out the tuning. Walker wanted to keep the exterior decal-free and not too ostentatious-looking, and asked for the rear fog light to be equipped with a white diffuser instead of the usual red one.
Further modifications made to the car included a Nismo exhaust system, an intercooler, upgraded turbos, new suspension, wheels and brakes. The engine produces 550 PS (542 hp / 405 kW). The rear bench is removed from the cabin, and the driver gets a big display along with a HUD.
