Nissan has released the first photos of its next-gen Juke crossover compact, along with some specs and the premiere date.
The car is shown wearing a complete test mule wrap, but some details can still be made out. For instance, you can see that the overall silhouette stays unchanged, and the rear door handles remain concealed in the pillars. As for the cabin, it stands to reason that the update will bring along a new entertainment system along with a new version of the ProPilot package.
The compact SUV comes based on the CMF-B platform, which makes it related to, say, Renault Clio. As fas as the engines are concerned, the car will be available with a turbocharged three-cylinder engine rated at 117 hp (88 kW); other options remain unannounced. Those could include gas engines rated up to 200 hp (150 kW) and a 1.5-liter diesel unit.
Transmission choices will be limited to six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT, with the CVT being dropped from the lineup.
The official debut will occur on September 3, 2019, and sales are planned for later this year.
