After a series of intriguing
teasers and spy photos, the second generation of the most sold and popular
electric car in the world is officially presented.
The appearance of the new
generation Nissan Leaf is very different from what the predecessor had. The
radiator grille is replaced by an artificial one, the rear pillars are
darkened, the light engineering and the car body are painted in two colors.
The new generation Nissan
Leaf electric car received the following dimensions: length - 4480 mm, height -
1536/1545 mm, width - 1790 mm and wheelbase size is 2700 mm.
The novelty is equipped with
a battery capacity of 40 kW/h. In addition, the model will have a version with
a battery of 60 kW/h. The car is equipped with an electric motor that generates
150 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.
You can replenish the stock
of the Nissan Leaf battery not only at a specialized station, but also from a
regular network. And with the quick charge function, the battery reserve will
increase by 80% in 40 minutes.
The equipment of the novelty
includes advanced systems ProPilot, ProPilot Park and e-Pedal. They are
technologies of autonomous control, autoparker and speed regulator using only
the accelerator pedal. Plus, the electric car has received a large number of
security systems and drivers assistance system.
The public premiere of the
new generation Nissan Leaf will take place at the upcoming motor show in
Frankfurt. Until the end of this year, the car will appear in the home dealer
centers of the Japanese company.
