Japanese tuner Kuhl Racing announced last summer that it was working on an aerodynamic kit for the Nissan Leaf (ZE1), the best-selling all-electric vehicle in Europe in 2018. The firm brought the final edition of the kit to the 2019 Osaka Auto Messe, and you may now order it from Japan if you like it.
Courtesy of the styling package, the environmentally clean Japanese car now sports a prominent front spoiler with side flaps, a redesigned front apron, side skirt extensions, an enormous rear diffuser, and a fixed roof wing. We half-expected it to get faux exhaust tips as well – there has been kind of a trend for that sort of thing lately – but fortunately, Kuhl Racing decided not to include those in the package.
The battery car you can see here also boasts air suspension alongside a set of five-spoke VERZ alloy wheels finished in gold (right side) and silver (left side). Its entire body sports a dark red finish (wrap or paint, we cannot say) that goes well with the tinted windows.
