Nissan Leaf gets turned into an emergency response vehicle/power generator

Nissan took a Leaf EV and converted it into a mobile power station capable of providing emergency power to households and equipment during natural disasters and major accidents.

The engineering department took a Tekna-spec Leaf with the 62-kWh e+ battery on board and fitted it with a lift kit (+225mm/+8.8”), 17-inch wheels, and composite fender extensions. Further mods included a roof-mounted LED bar, a 32-inch screen that they put into the trunk area, and an equipment space where the rear seat row used to be.

Most importantly, the car received industrial-grade power sockets capable of sharing high power via 110V and 220V AC outlets.
