Nissan will open pre-order books for the 2022 Leaf hatchback in Europe in early April, so stay tuned if you would like a facelift version.
The changes are purely cosmetic, though, with nothing changed in the tech department. There are new wheel designs coming in 16- and 17-inch sizes, as well as refreshed Nissan logos at the front end, in the back and on the hubcaps. Two new shades of blue are available as body colors.
The company says you can still choose from two battery sizes, like before. Their capacities remain undisclosed, but the old batteries could store around 40 and 62 kilowatt-hours. Opting for the largest one gave you up to 385 km (239 miles) of driving range on a charge.
Nissan expect to introduce 23 new electrified cars before the end of 2030, including 15 BEVs.
