The Autech Zagato Stelvio AZ1 pictured here has been designed by Nissan, while Italian tuner Zagato came up with its exterior and interior styling. The car is one of only 104 units made and is as-new with 900 km (559 miles) on the counter.
The overall outlines and aerodynamic side extensions concealing side mirrors are what makes the car unique among other Nissan vehicles. The trunk is also unusual, as are the wheels – covered with hubcaps, yet having air vents.
The interior is stock Nissan Leopard coupe (see video), which was based on the same platform as the Skyline of that era and had a luxury counterpart named Infiniti M30. The engine is also a standard 3.0-liter V6 boosted to 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW), which drives a ZF four-speed automatic transmission.
Autech and Zagato had planned to produce 200 units, but financial troubles prevented them from seeing that plan through. It is unclear how many cars remain alive to this day.
Judging by the photos and the stated mileage, the coupe should be in excellent overall condition. The asking price is €99,000.
