Nissan has unveiled the facelifted version of its Navara pickup for Asia, with sales in Thailand set to begin next month.
The model ended up with a new radiator grille, LED lighting throughout, bumpers (with a bed access step in the rear one), and wheels. A new spec has been added to the lineup called the PRO-4X. This one received orange front bumper inserts, a black body kit, special 17-inch wheels, All-Terrain tires and a stylish bed organizer module. The bed wall height grew 35 mm to 520 mm total. The rear suspension is now rated for 1.2 metric tons of weight load, and a new steering column allegedly makes the truck more responsible and maneuverable while reducing steering wheel vibration.
A serious off-road variant is also available with halogen bulbs, grille and headlight protection, heavy-duty front bumper, snorkel pipe and a roof rack.
Inside, the steering wheel is new and the dashboard boasts a seven-inch display among other retouches. The infotainment uses an eight-inch touchscreen display and supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Double side glass ensures imprived noise insulation, and AEB and 360-degree cameras are now included in the equipment list.
The 2.5-liter turbo diesel option becomes history, and a 2.3-liter EU-spec engine comes to replace it with 163-190 PS and 425-450 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic. The drive stays on the rear axle, but you can opt for part-time AWD.
The pricing remains to be announced.
