The Australian division of Nissan has shared some details about the upcoming Navara Pro-4X Warrior.
A similar modification first came Down Under in 2019, and the new one is based on the 2020 facelift version of the truck in its off-road-going Pro-4X specification.
Co-designed with Victoria-based company Premcar, the pickup features robust shock absorbers of a larger diameter, a 30 mm (1.2”) wider track, softer springs, tires sized 275/70 R17, 3mm sheet-metal bottom plating, a stainless-steel front bumper with integrated DRLs, a roll bar, and plastic fender flares.
The ground clearance gains 40 mm (1.6”) and now amounts to 260 mm (10.1”). The approach angle is now 36° (up from 32°), while the departure angle is down to 19° (from 19.8°) due to an added trailer hitch.
The cabin stays unchanged with its leather trim and multimedia system. Things remain stock under the hood, too, where a 2.3-liter twin-turbo diesel produces 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) in conjunction with a six-speed manual or seven-speed semi-auto transmission.
Pre-orders are already running in Australia, although prices remain to be announced.
