Nissan celebrates 90th birthday with 5 special editions

Nissan continues the festivities dedicated to its 90th anniversary with unveiling as many as five special editions of cars for domestic sale.

Earlier this month, the Japanese automaker opened an expo at its Yokohama HQ dedicated to the history of the Nissan brand, which is being officially recorded since December 26, 1933. Now, the company has rolled out a 90th Anniversary Edition of its Leaf, Note, Note Aura, Sakura and Serena models for Japan.

All five are available either as hybrids or as all-electric cars. Most of them sport assorted bronze trim bits on the bumpers, radiator grilles and light bezels, and ride on wheels finished in black. The same color can be found on the side mirror covers.

The interior trim mostly uses eco leather and Alcantara with contrast stitching to keep things lively. Paid options such as assorted body decals, branded floor mats and custom number plate frames are also available from Nissan dealerships in Japan.
