Nissan Note Autech Crossover enjoys some nip-and-tuck in Japan

The high-riding Nissan Note Autech Crossover has received an update on its domestic market after three years in production.

A cursory glance at the images suggests that neither the radiator grille nor the headlights have changed. The front bumper sports some added chrome bits and a silver lower trim, and the DRLs have moved to the very bottom. The rear bumper looks only marginally different, and the 16-inch alloy wheels are the same as before. On the upside, buyers are now choosing from a wider selection of exterior colors, including such interesting options as Copper and Turquoise.

From the technical perspective, the biggest improvement is an added 25 mm (1 inch) of ground clearance. Nissan also claims that it managed to fine-tune the suspension for comfort while keeping it stable and sporty. The interior received a slightly larger glove compartment and the trunk area ended with a double bottom.

Trim-wise, you can opt for black eco leather with blue stitching and wood accents if you want to. The displays measure seven inches large for the dash and nine inches for the infotainment.

Things stay the same under the hood. An 82-PS (81-hp / 60-kW) petrol engine provides electricity for the main powertrain, which can be FWD with 116 PS (114 hp / 85 kW) or AWD with an added 68-PS (67-hp / 50-kW) motor at the back.

Prices in Japan start from ¥2,760,000.
