Nissan cuts its U.S. van lineup as an anti-crisis action

The Japanese automotive corporation intends to optimize its U.S. offer of mid-size and compact vans as part of its anti-crisis strategy. Underwhelming sales are being quoted as the main reason.

For the reference, the Nissan NV series hit the North American market nearly a decade ago and sold over 10,100 units during its launch year. The number kept slowly growing and ultimately hit 20,000+ units in 2019, but it is far behind the competition.

The NV200 minivans (shown in our gallery and the video) will also leave the USA along with the mid-sized NV model. Being an international model, the NV200 will continue to be available on other markets.
