Did you know sleeping in cars was trending in Japan? Well, it still is, and Nissan has responded to it by releasing a special version of its NV200 minivan.
Buyers can now fold back the second and the third row seats to form a level bed suitable for two adults. At 172 x 127 cm (67.2 x 49.6 inches) large with a mattress 5 cm (2 inches) thick, it is neither too big nor too comfy – but serviceable enough.
You can order the bed option with either the 2WD or the 4WD variant of the NV200. The standard 1.6-liter four-cylinder spec will be your only engine option in either case.
The MPV originally debuted 13 years ago (see video), but it continues to enjoy reasonably good sales despite its age. With the new version coming out, the sales will probably improve even further.
