Nissan Pathfinder for China revealed via patent shots

Nissan and Dongfeng are getting a special edition of the Pathfinder SUV ready to rumble in China, AutoHome reports posting the first images submitted by the companies to the Ministry of Industry database.

Compared to its international version, the SUV has a completely different front end. It has a large radiator grille sporting horizontal bars and headlights that appear merged with the grille. The bumper has vertical inserts at the sides. Moving on to the rear, there is a large bar with the Nissan badge on it and a 4x4 badge on the tailgate.

The SUV is 5,130 mm long, 1,981 mm wide and 1,767 mm tall with 2.9 meters between the axles. As such, it is slightly larger than the international version. The only version patented so far has three rows of seats.

For now, the only engine announced is a 2.0T rated at 251 PS (248 hp / 185 kW). Other options may be added later on, but Nissan has yet to announce them.

Other than that, the SUV looks like the Pathfinder Concept that debuted in April (see video) and is identical to it in most aspects, including even the wheel design. Nothing is known at this moment about the interior and the availability date.
