Dongfeng and Nissan report making 16 mil cars in China

The Dongfeng-Nissan joint enterprise in China has reported producing its 16,000,000th vehicle. It was a Nissan Pathfinder.

The China-spec Pathfinder (seen the rest of the gallery and the video here) is heavily localized for the country’s market and has little in common with its U.S. cousin.

The Dongfeng-Nissan joint enterprise has been running for 21 years now. It took it five years to produce its first million of cars. Right now, the industrial complex is churning out all kinds of vehicles under Nissan, Infiniti and Venucia brands.
