Check out a 54-year-old Nissan Patrol restomod

Garage Kept Motors is selling a completely restored, second-generation 1969 Nissan Patrol for U.S. $24,900 right now. Let’s throw a glance at it.

The company has completely disassembled the off-roader before the restoration and resprayed its bodywork in a new shade of red. Numerous black accents like heavy-duty bumpers, side sills, decorative bezels and roll bars were added for contrast.

The SUV rides on rebuilt suspension and a Dana rear axle. It benefits from some extra ground clearance and wears BFGoodrich off-road tires. The interior seats six people.

In its factory guise, the second-gen Patrol made do with a 4.0-liter inline-six engine rated at a low 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW). The restomod ditched that engine in favor of a modern American V8. The specs aren’t available, but we would imagine them being much higher than stock.
