The latest Nissan X-Trail generation came to the U.S. market three years ago under the name ‘Rogue’. It has now been refreshed for the model year 2024 with minor styling tweaks and updated multimedia software. Sales in North America will begin in early 2024 with four trim levels to choose from.
Starting at the front, the radiator grille is larger than before and has horizontal bars. The front bumper houses a new sensor unit for driving aids, and the lower sections of the headlights sport new bezels. At the rear end, only the taillight patterns are new. New wheel options and body paints round off the list.
As for the infotainment system, it retains its old hardware, but you no longer have to order the top trim to get the bigger 12.3-inch display – a paid upgrade from 8 inches is available in most trims now. The two most expensive variants also get Google services, including Google Play and Maps. Extra USB ports and a wireless charger are also available in the higher specs.
The engine choices remain the same.
