Apart from being introduced to new mass-issue and concept cars, visitors to the Tokyo Car Show in January 2018 may participate in the traditional BHauction sale. One of this year’s listed items is a Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür, which may be called a true classic of its genre.
The vehicle came off the assembly line in 2002, and has since only travelled a total distance of 10 kilometers (slightly over 6 miles). Its seats still bear manufacturer’s packaging.
A total of 1,000 Nür vehicles have been assembled to date. In comparison to the mass-produced model of Skyline GT-R R34, the former has a carbon hood and additional body parts which further improve its aerodynamic properties.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür is powered by a 2.6-liter turbocharged V6 unit with 280 horsepower, which accelerates it to a respectable 300 km/h (approx. 186 mph).
The Nür limited series also comes with lower, stiffer suspension, and an all-wheel drive system with upgraded control firmware.
