Nissan Skyline, a.k.a. Infiniti Q50 in some countries, has been in production since 2014 and is no longer young. A new generation is coming, and word gets around that major changes are in the works.
According to Best Car, the next-gen Skyline could get two unusual body styles: crossover SUV and four-door coupe, to use the marketing speak. The latter essentially denotes a sedan with sloped roofline.
Interestingly enough, the Skyline sports car family had an SUV variant named Crossover a while ago. As such, we would not be surprised to see a new version based on the Infiniti QX55.
The current generation of the sports car received its latest update in 2019. IT comes powered by a 3.0-liter V6 rated at 405 PS (400 hp / 298 kW).
