Inspired by Star Wars: Nissan unveils Rogue Concept

The North American subdivision of Nissan has revealed Rogue Concept, a crossover model built with the X-Trail SUV as basis. Its designers drew inspiration from the Star Wars series as they attempted to recreate Han Solo’s majestic spaceship as a street-legal terrestrial vehicle.
There are numerous 3D-printed parts adorning the body of the prototype vehicle. Its roof proudly carries a radar antenna and a mock-up laser gun. There is an intricate highlighted structure doing a passable imitation of the Millennium Falcon jet engine group. And, in case you were asking yourself, ‘What about the accompanying engine roar?’, well, there are three 1,500-Watt subwoofers dedicated to exactly that purpose. Ouch!
The interior of the vehicle houses numerous buttons, knobs, displays and switches: of course, none of them actually do anything. The real stuff includes power seats, a multi-function steering wheel, an infotainment system with a touchscreen display and a climate control.
The developers never mentioned what kind of powertrain their Earth-bound Falcon comes with, but it bears reminding that the stock Nissan Rogue/X-Trail cars ship with either 2.5-liter gasoline engines rated at 172 hp (128 kW) or hybrid engines good for 178 hp (133 kW).
