Nissan keeps pumping up the hype around its next Z series sports car. This time around we learned that it is coming with a six-speed manual transmission and a classical handbrake ā the latter added to appease the numerous fans who have asked for it.
Among other things, the video focuses on the āZā badge on the side sills, sporty-looking brake calipers, and dual-five-spoke wheels. The taillights and two-piece headlights are also shown, clearly inspired by those of the 300ZX model that was in production from 1983 through 2000.
Nothing is being revealed about the powertrain, but our best bet is on the 3.0L Infiniti V6 TT rated close to 400 hp (300 kW) and 475 Nm (350 lb-ft). We will likely know for sure when the new Nissan Z debuts in its full glory next Tuesday, September 15.
