It’s been unnaturally quiet on the Nissan Z front over the past months, but that time is over. The company published the first official photos of a camouflaged Z, and reports are coming in that ore-orders will open on November 15, 2021.
The images revealed suggest that the sports car has a finalized body and kit. Discernible elements include a modest-sized rear spoiler, subtly retouched headlights, and a new wheel set.
When Nissan unveiled the Z Proto in September last year, it promised to keep the design unchanged until production – and it looks like the promise will be kept, indeed. Aside from a retro-inspired exterior, the new Z will pack a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 rated at 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) in conjunction with manual transmission. Unofficial sources are saying all modifications will get the same powertrain, and the entry trim level could cost as little as $35,000 USD.
The launch is expected in late 2021.
