The next instalment in the Nissan sports car series, laconically named the ‘Nissan Z’ this time around, will celebrate its official premiere in New York on August 17, 2021. Here are some details to tide you over.
The car improves upon the design standard set by the Z Proto and comes powered by the 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 of the Infiniti Q60. The output is unofficially estimated at 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW). The standard spec will be rear-wheel-drive only.
As for the appearances, we expect a rather impressive, aerodynamically shaped sports car with a giant front grille and retro-style taillights. The interior should also follow in the footsteps of the Proto, which implies a digital dashboard, an eight-inch multimedia touchscreen, leather seats and a three-spoke steering wheel.
