Now that Nissan has officially launched the new Z in the North America, you can obtain it in a V6+manual Sport version for as little as $39,990. For a bit of perspective, the Toyota Supra 2.0 TFSI with an eight-speed automatic costs at least $43,350.
Customers in the United States can choose from three main trim levels called Z Performance ($49,990), Z Proto Spec ($52,990), and the entry-level trim mentioned above. The Proto will be made in only 240 units.
All coupes draw their power from the same three-liter V6 VR30DDTT twin-turbo engine dialed up to 405 PS (400 hp / 298 kW). The transmission can be six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic.
The standard equipment list contains 18-inch wheels, fabric upholstery, a single-zone AC and an 8-inch infotainment screen. Opting for the Z Performance adds a limited-slip differential, a rear spoiler, Rays wheels shod in Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, and sports-ready brakes and exhaust.
Shelling out on the Z Proto Spec unlocks yellow brake calipers, 19-inch Rays rollers finished in bronze, an original gear lever, leather seats, and door panels trimmed with a mix between fabric and Alcantara.
