The tandem of the automakers Opel and Vauxhall, which teamed up this year under the leadership of the French PSA group, unveiled a development plan that was named PACE! It includes a significant expansion of the lineup of hybrid and all-electric cars.
In particular, the crossover Opel Grandland X will receive a hybrid power unit, as well as the possibility of recharging from the usual household electricity. And here the hatchback Corsa of the next generation will become an electric car. In 2019, the German automaker plans to release a crossover built on the modular platform EMP2.
Opel plans to enter 20 new markets by 2020, as well as reduce the price of produced cars by an average of 700 euros. In addition, the PSA group intends to significantly reduce the number of used engines and chassis.
