Representatives of the German automaker Opel announced the imminent release of the mid-size crossover. Also at the official press conference showed a designer sketch of the new model.
The car will be assembled on the basis of the alliance PSA platform, which is now used to create crossovers Peugeot 5008 and Citroen C5 Aircross. Judging by the images presented to the public, the new SUV from Opel will be presented in a fully electric version, but earlier on the market will release its gasoline and diesel modifications.
Also, auto experts did not exclude the appearance of a sports version of the crossover in the future.
We add, according to Opel's development strategy, the company must implement a mass transition to hybrid and electric power plants.
