Ascariss Design unveils its take on a new hi-end Opel CUV

Ascariss Design, a conceptual car design studio specializing in accurate 3D renderings of upcoming, but not fully revealed vehicles, has posted a 3D image of what it believes just might be the next flagship SUV by Opel.

A cursory glance at the picture allows to conclude that the design sketch looks largely like the Opel Monza Concept which debuted in 2013.

It is expected that the new Opel SUV, which still goes without a name, will take advantage of the EMP2 platform currently used for the Peugeot 3008 and the Citroen C5 Aircross. According to an inside source, it might ship with a palette of 1.6-liter V4 gasoline engines rated between 200 and 270 hp (150-200 kW).
