The beginning of the international motor show in Geneva, Switzerland, draws nearer with each passing day, so manufacturers try and make as many important announcements as they can to keep the public interested. Opel, for instance, has revealed that it was going to come to the trade fair with the next generation update of its Combo Life van. What is this update about, really?
To begin with, the vehicle will be shipped in two wheelbase variants: standard and long. The difference is as high as 30 cm (12”), so the latter will have a trunk compartment full 1,050 liters larger than the former.
The interior of the new Opel Combo Life will feature a digital dashboard and a separate infotainment display. The driver and passengers will benefit from a number of up-to-date safety and comfort-oriented features.
The vehicle will roll to the showrooms in Europe with a choice between two gasoline motors (1.2L, 110 / 130 hp) and five diesels (1.5L, 75…130 hp).
All prices will be announced at a later date.
